In 1972 at the age of 19, Fred took over his father's three-man Tulsa, Oklahoma based public relations firm. By his mid-twenties, having switched the firm's emphasis to advertising and image development had expanded to more than 50 employees in offices in the U.S. and Venezuela. Clients included: Citibank, The Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookie Company, Associated Funeral Director's Service Corporation, Flora fax International, Inc. and Mako 7-Eleven, among others. Fred has directed Hollywood personalities such as: Orson Wells, James Earl Jones, Lauren Bacall, Vincent Schiavelli, Geoffrey Holder and Vincent Price. Fred has lived in Hollywood since 1985, Today his company Strategic Perception, Inc. specializes in political clients. In 2002, of fourteen campaigns all but two resulted in victory. Among those elected to office included Elizabeth Dole and Senator Jim Inholfe. Most recently, Davis was selected as a creative/media consultant for the George W. Bush presidential re-election campaign for 2004.
